Products
Hempafire Optima 500
Now there’s a more efficient way to achieve cellulosic fire protection in large-scale steel structure projects. With faster drying and fewer coats, Hempafire Optima 500 waterborne intumescent paint helps you boost productivity and work smarter. In addition, Hempafire Optima 500 works effectively in a wide range of conditions with outstanding performance, including hot and dry climates. This advanced all-round performance makes it ideal for large-scale infrastructure projects and buildings like, commercial centres, airports, sport stadiums or warehouses.
Tested up to 180 minutes, it has been optimized to provide 120 minutes protection and C3 interior corrosion protection. The whole protection system can be delivered within two days*. It can be used for on-site or offsite applications depending on project and application conditions.

Hempaprime Multi 500
Hempaprime Multi 500 gives you up to 20 per cent reduced production time*. Combined with easy application, a full system of three coats is possible in a single shift, without compromising the strength of the coating. Even at higher film thicknesses.
Hempaprime Multi 500’s short overcoat intervals and fast-developed hardness offers you strong and durable protection, enabling steel to be moved sooner with reduced risk of damage to the coating.
*Calculated as the reduced total drying time for full three-coat system (overcoat times plus dry-to-touch time for the final third coat) by using Hempaprime Multi 500 as intermediate coat instead of Hempadur Mastic.
Hempacore
Building safety should never be a question of compromise. That’s why we developed the Hempacore range of passive fire protection coatings.
All commonly used building materials lose strength when exposed to high enough temperatures. In extreme cases, even steel can buckle and collapse in a matter of minutes. Our Hempacore intumescent fire protection coatings insulate structural steel during cellulosic fire so it can retain its load-bearing capacity for up to two hours, giving people valuable time to evacuate.
